Hi Shannon,I saw your article in the DMN, and have read most of the entries in your blog. My 18 month old would love the bento meals, and you've inspired me to try them. I was wondering where you find your supplies? I saw a mention of the Asian market on Legacy, but is there anywhere else you recommend?-Stacy
I found you through the DMN article too, and was just coming to ask the same thing: where do you shop? I've seen some other kids with the Hello Panda cookies and other Asian items, so I know they are sold around here, but I havent' been able to find out where.
Me too... what a neat concept! I am going to try some of these for my 2nd grader, and I've passed your website along to some friends as well.I'm a foodie to boot so man does this make packing a kid's lunch look fun!Andrea from Richardson
Congratulations! Saw the article. Have you seen bentoyum.com? Her eggs crack me up. (no pun intended) I was wondering if anyone found good places for supplies in that big strip of Asian grocery stores, shops, and restaurants in Richardson, right off Greenville Ave., north of downtown. I've been to a pho place there, but haven't gone exploring yet.
Congratulations Shannon! I showcased you, your blog and this article in a bento media roundup today on my blog: http://lunchinabox.net/2007/08/16/back-to-school-bento-in-the-news/
Hi Shannon,I don't like "advertising" in blog comments, but I've set up a forum to more easily discuss where to find bento accessories, since there seems to be some interest locally. I would love for you to contribute, and will offer links to anyone with a bento-related blog. Please visit http://japanforums.thenerdranch.com-Stacy
Yeah!! Faith looks adorable in the pix!!
