Not Quite a Bento, Muffin Tin Monday

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

We haven't actually done Muffin Tin Monday since last summer, but I'm not sure why. I showed it to Faith yesterday and she thought we should start doing it again.

Since they have to eat anyhow, and muffin tins are dishwasher safe, why not? This week, the theme was "Seeds, Plants, & Flowers". We just did an awesome flower bento, so I borrowed a fair number of those ideas.

The top row holds:
2 flower shaped ham sandwiches topped with a cheese flower, cucumber flowers topped with carrots, celery with cream cheese & flower carrot decorations.

The bottom row holds:
Watermelon chunks with a few cantaloupe flowers, cantaloupe chunks with strawberry flowers, and two blueberry muffin bread flowers.

Faith was happy & Ben just wanted a bowl of watermelon. Easy enough.

Snack bentos on the way soon, they are stuffed with yesterday's samosas!

  10. Does it have to be ham? Or does any meat work?
