And a New Box for Faith too!

I couldn't get Ben a new box without getting something for Faith.

Ideally, I would have liked a matching box for her, but girly. Alas, they didn't have the same style. Instead, she got a set of 4 stacking boxes with colorful dachsunds on them! These are also from Borders, made by Paperchase. That made her happy too and she didn't have a set of stacking boxes (Ben does). All is good, for now, but I still want a box like Ben's for her.

Faith used 2 of the 4 stacking boxes for lunch, there is still one bigger & one smaller than these. She had a chicken-veggie stuffed muffin, some carrots & celery, and a sweet potato cupcake (which kind of got cream cheese icing on the celery, oops) in the larger box. The smaller box holds freshly cut watermelon. Worked well, all eaten, yay!

Faith's two boxes today, with lids:

And these would be the larger/smaller containers:

I'm linking this one to my new "What's for Lunch Wednesday" linkie, come play too!

  4. I must go to borders! I'm a sucker for all of these containers! Guess I should start finding a place to store them. Do you find these are airtight?

  5. Are you worried about what these boxes are made of or what the plastic type is, leaching into the food? just wondering as everything is going bpa free but some of the boxes you show I think are not necessarily meant for food. ???

  6. They seem airtight, I haven't tested them too well yet. I wouldn't put anything liquid in them, I don't think the lids are that tight.

They are meant for food though, dishwasher safe, but not microwave. I can't find the wrapper that said what they are made of though, I threw it out the other day.

We only buy food containers for bento, but I don't make it a habit to check the materials. I know EasyLunchboxes & LaptopLunches for sure are safe, not sure about some of the other products. I figured as long as they were actual food containers, I was OK.

  7. Never fear, paperchase is forever coming out with new lines and Borders carries most of them. So there's bound to be a more girly line like the robot one, just wait it out. I work in a Borders and LOVE the paperchase lines.

  10. Cute cute boxes! I wish our Borders had had those! Kidlet had a hard time choosing between the robot box and a set of stacking ones with a bear holding noodles. The bear holding noodles won :D
