Muffin Tin Mondays, ABCs!

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

I know we've done this theme before, but I have certain foods that just need to be eaten! I'm off to Chicago later this week and I wanted certain fruits/veggies eaten before they end up being wasted. I really don't enjoy wasting food.

Anyhow, we opted for an alphabet theme this week!

Starting from the top left and going across the top row, then bottom:
A is for Apples
B is for Bananas, Blackberries & Blueberries
C is for Carrots, Celery & Cucumber
D is for Dip (roasted red pepper & tomato is the fave this week)
E is for Egg (half a hardboiled egg, decorated to look like a cat)
F is for Fish-shaped sandwich (tuna FISH salad on Nature's Own Honey Wheat)

Be sure to check out Muffin Tin Monday for other fun lunches!

  8. I love the egg molds and purchased them, but started wondering about the lead content - do you know if they are held to a certain standard? I am just a concerned mom.

  9. I don't know, I no longer have the packets from mine. They are at least meant for food, so I'm hoping that they are safe.

Writing a quick tutorial on the cute face eggs as soon as I retake the pics. Those are definitely food-safe, they are all knife work.

  14. @SingleMom - Dip recipes are up, had to type them out.

@Tara - I didn't use egg molds in this tin, but I have in the past. These are just regular eggs decorated.
