Back Home Bentos!

And we're back in Texas!!!

We made a quick stop to SuperTarget once we got close to Dallas to pick up a little bit of fruit, some milk, and other necessities. This, of course, gave me a chance to actually feed the kids today, rather than relying on our friendly neighborhood drive-thru.

Ben had skull & crossbone shaped quesadillas with chicken & cheese inside. I kind of forgot to defrost bread until this morning, and the tortillas weren't frozen. With that, he has some grapes, some watermelon, some yellow plums, and some cucumbers.

I still need to do more grocery shopping but thought that was a good start at least!

  3. I am trying to get into doing bento lunches for this school year. I know that there are lots of places to get bento boxes and accessories online, and I know you can use rubbermaid and other containers for bento. However I am from the DFW area (McKinney)too, and am wondering if there are any actual stores in the area where you've found bento kits/accessories etc.

  4. Try Shop Minoya in Plano! NW corner of Independence & Parker, next to USToy. They usually have a good selection.

  9. That skull and cross bones quesadilla is so cute. I'd like to say that I've been totally inspired by your blog to go all out on lunches. I actually enjoy packing them now. I've also recently purchased a moose and hedge hog cutter.

    Thanks for the inspiration <3

  11. They are for cookie/candy decorating, I think they are called sugar eyes? Amazon stocks them, they look so cute and the kids love the little sweet part.
