Muffin Tin Monday - Minis!

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

Still in Canada, but that doesn't mean we still can't have Muffin Tin Monday! My mom got me a couple of mini muffin tins for baking, as you all know my obsession with mini-muffins for the kids. Apparently, mini-muffins aren't enough for my dad, so my mom handed down her mini-muffin pans for her grandchildren. ;o)

In that vein, we opted for a "mini" theme this week, little bits of lots of things!

The kids had identical tins this week, so I have no idea which kid this one belonged to.
Top row - homemade strawberry/blueberry granola bar, half a mini orange, cucumber stars, blueberries
Middle row - cheese stars, homemade cheese crackers (thanks Nana), turkey, a Timbit (mini donut)
Bottom row - black cherry yogurt, half a mini slider with mixed berry jam, baby carrots, raspberry applesauce

Check out Muffin Tin Monday for more fun tins!

  1. You inspire me to try and serve my kids better lunches. I have been stocking up on cookie cutters this summer to get ready for the new school year.

  2. I love muffin tin meals but did you really make one of these for each of your kids? How much did they eat?

  3. My kids sometimes eat out of 12 cup muffin tins, it depends on how hungry they are or how much food I want to get rid of tee hee!

  4. Yes. They are the mini muffin tins though, so there really isn't all that much food--one slice of turkey, barely one piece of cheese after it was cut out, half of a baby orange, 8 blueberries or so, etc.

  9. I use the mini tins all the time, but hadn't thought to do a mini theme w/ it! I love the variety of F & V in the tin!

To the previous poster, my kids eat everything from their mini tin, unless I'm offering a food they don't like. They really don't hold that much.
