A sort of, kind of Carebear Bento

I was holding a little bear cutter the other day and thinking, hmmm, I could turn this into a Carebear.

Of course, the image in my head was a lot more polished than the final result, because it's really hard to create a perfect looking Carebear out of cheese. Still, at least Faith figured out what I was going for.

There is a ham and cheese sandwich on round pieces of Nature's Own Honey Wheat, topped with my little Carebear. He's orange cheddar cheese, with a white cheddar tummy, orange flower with a lunch meat center, two sugar eyes, and a bit of cucumber for the nose & mouth. He actually wasn't hard to build, just punching & swapping the pieces of cheese (and eating the spoils).

To go along with this sandwich, we have cucumber flowers, carrot & celery sticks, a couple of fresh strawberries, and a mini chocolate chip muffin bite.

Feel free to ooh & aah at the bear. I kind of wanted to save him, but in the end, he became lunch.

  10. Loving the bento's idea for my grandson who is heading off to his first experience of school. I have bought him his first bento for his upcoming birthday, not that he will really know what it is for until school, but I couldn't resist, they are so cute and such a great idea for little people.
