Snack Bentos for Taekwondo

I had to pack a quick snack for my always starving martial artists. They have class earlier (5:30) but since we stay for the adult class many nights, we're not actually done till 7:30 and home closer to 8.

While I was making Ben's snack, Faith decided she would pack hers on her own. She loves playing with the bento supplies!

Ben has a piece of blueberry banana bread, topped with a cheese turtle, blackberries, honeydew and grapes. I saved a couple of uncut pieces of honeydew to make little trees for him.

Faith has honeydew and grapes too (no blackberries, she doesn't care for them), some carrots, and a cranberry-pear gingerbread muffin topped with a cheese teapot.

We added yogurt in a separate container, so they could have a wee bit of extra protein to tide them over till dinner.

  2. I *love* that teapot! It reminds me of Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast.

  3. I came across your site from the foodieblogroll and I'd love to guide Foodista readers to your site. I hope you could add this bento box widget at the end of this post so we could add you in our list of food bloggers who blogged about bento boxes, Thanks!
