Bento Snacks for Starving Children

Oh yes, F&B are apparently starving to death and needed to eat yet again before we headed off to evening martial arts classes. Poor starving children have such a rough life, you know!

For snacks, which may as well have been a lunch, the kiddos had mini pitas stuffed with ham and cheese, vanilla yogurt with dried cherries and a few chocolate chips, carrots, cucumber, and cantaloupe.

Maybe this can stave off hunger for an hour or so?

  2. My girls go through stages where they eat nothing and then others when I seem to not feed them enough. I love it when they eat.

  4. My kids are constantly hungry. My son will be chewing and will tell me he is hungry! After a breakfast of eggs, beans, spinach and three bowls of cereal, he will tell me of his hunger...to his credit, he is growing quite well!

  9. Oh my gosh, you are a terrific Mom! :) What a wonderful snack, prepared with love. I don't know how you come up with these ideas, but I've bookmarked your site and will visit again for more! My kids aren't picky either (as you mentioned in your SITS interview), but to give them something that looked like this? They'd love it. Thanks for the great ideas!
