Breakfast for Dinner with New Hormel Natural Choice

As part of being a Hormel Extended Family Blogger, we get yummy packages in the mail once a month.  And often, those packages contain new products that Hormel is introducing.  This past month, in our ice chest of goodness, there was a package of the new Hormel Natural Choice Flame Seared Honey Ham.  It sounded delicious and looked even better, so I was trying to think of the perfect way to use it.

One busy night, it came to me ...

Breakfast for dinner!

Like most families, we kind of default to breakfast for dinner on nights we are crazy-busy or have forgotten to leave a meal out.  Tonight was that night.  The girl and I were out late last night, the husband was coming off 24-hour duty and the boy had Cub Scouts.  Not only was dinner late, it needed to be quick.

I opted to make a quick French toast and scrambled eggs, but decided it was the perfect time to sample our Hormel Natural Choice Flame Seared Honey Ham.  After I cooked the French toast, I was able to use the same pan to heat up the ham as a side dish, then cook the eggs after that since it all worked together.

The verdict?  The husband and I loved it!  And I had two kids who informed me I should have made a second (albeit imaginary) pack!  It was that good and the perfect side to our toast and eggs.  I know what I'll be buying again this week.

Disclosure: I have received product and information from Hormel Foods in exchange for being a Hormel Foods Extended Family Blogger. All opinions expressed within the post are my own.
