Love Lunch Bento

I know, it's not quite February yet, but I had some projects to work on for Valentine's Day and the kids ate the spoils! Thankfully, they were tasty projects and they lent themselves well to bento lunches.  Not to mention, it's good to have ideas before the actual holiday!

In this cute little love lunch, we have a cream cheese and jelly linzer-style sandwich on whole wheat, cut out with a set of descending heart size cutters I found at the dollar store a couple of years ago.  A streusel bar is in the same compartment, also cut with a heart cookie cutter.

To the right, we have sliced strawberries (those are another story all together) and frozen yogurt hearts.  What's awesome with the hearts is that as they start to melt, they still stay cool, so it's functional and adorable!  Just spoon yogurt into silicone ice cube trays, freeze, then pop out for lunch!

Lunch is packed in our Easy Lunchboxes, the pick and spoon from a shopping trip in California, and the various heart cutters were dollar store finds.
