Even my mom gets in on the bento action!
Awhile back, I had an offer for a second set of Happy Lunchboxes at a great discounted price, so I ordered them for my mom, thinking they might work well for my dad's lunch at work. He mostly works night shifts, so he takes a lunch, soup, snacks, etc with him. My mom mentioned the other night that she had remembered the Happy Lunchboxes and used them for my dad, He had a short week and she wanted to prepack his lunches. He really liked what she sent, so I requested pictures that I could use on the blog. A lot of the veggies are fresh from their garden too.
This one has a sautéed steak on a bun with peppers and onions, cheese cubes, some baby spinach, cucumbers, grape tomatoes and yellow peppers along with cantaloupe and poppy seed dressing.
And this one has toasted whole wheat bread with turkey, ham, roast beef, lettuce, cheese (triple decker) with mayonnaise and cream cheese along with baby carrots, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, sweet peppers, marble cheese cubes and cantaloupe chunks.
