Flower Power Bento Lunch

We took a quick family getaway to Great Wolf Lodge last week, which meant we were lunch free for a few days!  We've been once before and the kids loved it, so we've been wanting to go back.

But alas, vacation is over and a new week means new lunches!

In this lunch, we made a flower power sandwich!  It's Faith's favorite, ham and cheese, on multigrain rounds.  I had an awesome big flower cookie cutter from an Easter set, so I used that to make the big cheddar flower topper, then used a normal circle cutter to add a provolone center.

To the right, we had three mini donuts leftover, so I added those for a treat, then peeled a mini orange and tucked it into a flower silicone cup.  All those are accented with some cute flower and bug picks.  I also added one of the new Organic Slammers we are sampling this week, in the Awesome flavor (bananas, blueberries, strawberries, beets, ace, and amaranth).  The company sent us a couple of flavors to try and they've been a great lunchbox addition.  I love freezing pouches to act as ice packs and then the insides are still semi frozen when eaten.
