The Last Adventure Camp Bento Lunch

Adventure camp was a complete success for the boy and we can't say enough good things about Avid4Adventure.  Ben is already asking to go back next year, and we're thinking about trying out their overnight camps too.

Since it was just the two of us that week, his lunches were all fairly similar, but he was happy and full, and that's what matters.

In the final lunch of the week, Ben took yet another turkey and cheese sandwich, but this time on honey wheat bread, cut in half diagonally to fit in the box.  This was the week he was not in the mood for ham, so we stuck with turkey for the sandwich meat.  I did alternate between muenster, havarti, and sharp cheddar for cheese, along with different breads.

For fruits, he took sliced strawberries and a cut up apricot (purple container), along with some chocolate animal crackers and an almond poppyseed muffin for treats.  As with the previous days, I sent frozen applesauce pouches, granola bars, and fruit snacks as extra snacks, along with multiple bottles of water to keep him hydrated all day long.

Lunch was packed, again, in a Goodbyn Hero Box, with a mini Goodbyn snack container to hold the apricot away from his sandwich.  His backpack required the box to fit on its side and the seal was necessary to make that happen.
