Get Ready, Get Set ...

I have had this idea in my head for ages and finally decided I need to get it out there!

Starting tomorrow, and the following Wednesday, I am hosting:

"What's for Lunch" Wednesdays!

What Is It?
A blog carnival with a linkie for you to share a favorite bento lunch from the past week. Make them fancy, make them plain, make them for you, your kids, your husband, anyone you'd like. Take a picture, blog it, then come visit and add your link to the list!

Any Rules?
Not really! Just take a picture, write a post, add a link back to the "What's for Lunch" Wednesday post, add your link *to* the "What's for Lunch" Wednesday post, and share your creation!
You can use this link to link back:
A friend of mine is fixing up a little square button that I'll share as soon as I have it too!

Does It Need to Be a New Lunch?
No no no!!! I don't want anyone to feel like they have to make a special lunch for this post. If you only use bentos on Sundays & Mondays, link up one of those posts! Just choose a favorite from the past week. Of course, if you want to make a special one, you're welcome to do that too.

Why Wednesdays?
Because I like alliteration and "What's for Lunch" Thursday doesn't have quite the same ring to it. ;o) And no days of the week have "B" in them, so I couldn't think of a cute play on the word bento.

So get ready, the first linkie should go live tonight shortly after midnight tonight!

I'm so excited to finally start doing this, I hope you all join in!!!

  1. I'll play! :o) What a great idea!

  2. Thanks so much!

I'm so excited about the idea and was hoping it wasn't going to just be me. ;o)

  3. I want to play! I jut need to find all my bento supplies from the move!

  4. This is great! I'll try for tomorrow; if not then, I'm definitely in for next week.

  5. yup! I'll play! School is almost out, so not sure mine will be bento style, but we will still be having fun with our food around here!
