New Fiber One Streusel Bars Dessert Hack #StreuselHack

This week, F&B and I are sampling the new Fiber One Streusel bars.  I tried them first in Minneapolis at the General Mills blogger retreat and was really happy to get samples to share with the kids.

Fiber One Streusel are a tasty combination of real fruit and 12 grams of whole grains and a sensible treat that taste more like an indulgence! The soft-baked bars have a delicious brown sugar streusel topping have 20% of the daily value of fiber (5 grams) and are 150 calories.

We all know eating healthy can be really tough, especially when you are craving something sweet. And that's this week's challenge! Putting dessert back on the plate by creating easy to make lower calorie dessert ‘hacks’ using Fiber One Streusel bars as the base.

We decided to try our hand at a hack on the blueberry bar for our dessert treat, and the plan had to involve lemon, because lemons and blueberries together are just a little bit awesome.  I had a great lemon marmalade that I got from the local farmers market, along with blueberries and whipped cream in the fridge, so our hack came together perfectly!

What you need:
1 Fiber One Streusel Bar in Blueberry (150 calories)
1/2 Tbsp Lemon Marmalade (25 calories)
1/8 cup blueberries (10 calories)
1 Tbsp Whipped Cream (15 calories)

Melt the jam in the microwave for about 10 seconds till it becomes pourable, then drizzle it over the top of the Streusel bar.
Top with blueberries, then spritz a little whipped cream on the top, and eat.

Lots of flavor and just 200 calories, Ben was my taste tester and highly approves!
