This is too awesome not to share.
I'm not exactly a huge proponent of Lunchables. By now, if you've been reading this blog, you probably could have guessed that I'd rather make my own. My kids have had 1 in the last year, on a road trip because I wanted portable & disposable for a change. I will also admit that the new Lunchables look like they are trying to be more nutritious.
However, there are many kids where that might be the best food of their whole day, or their only food for that matter.
Kraft is running a promotion called "Lunch Notes Promise". For everyone who promises to write a note in their child's lunchbox, they will donate a meal to a child & their family in need through "Feeding America".

I'm putting this one in Ben's snack on Monday, won't you consider doing the same?
Side note: I have nothing to do with the above promotion, nor anything to gain if you choose to participate. I just think it's a great idea and I am sure there are a number of blog readers that might agree. :o)
If you do decide to participate, feel free to share a pic of your note (scarino @ gmail.com works well without the spaces). I'll try to post some cute ones for ideas later this week!

ReplyDeleteI think this is a great Idea! I have posted about it on my blog and will be putting notes in Jujube's lunch!
ReplyDeleteMy promises don't mean anything here in Canada so I'm going to fake what state I'm from. :-)
