Muffin Tin Monday, Again!

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

I know, I know, it's not exactly a bento, but it give me a chance to play with our food (again) and sometimes mess around with ideas that may or may not work in a true bento box.

This week, there was no official theme for Muffin Tin Monday, but I like themes, so we had to choose our own and chose BEARS. I like bears and well, I have bear shaped lunch accessories!

The top row includes:
Bear shaped turkey & cheese sandwiches on Nature's Own Honey Wheat bread
Bear shaped hard boiled egg (I need bigger eggs, his ears didn't quite make it)
Sleepy bear cucumber with carrots underneath

The bottom row has:
Bear shaped zucchini spice cookie
Mixed "bear"ies! (LOL, I do amuse myself!)
Sweet potato mini cupcake with a bear pick to match

The bear pick in the cupcake is one of my bento-ish finds from the Dollar Tree. They are baby shower cupcake picks in a variety of colors, something like 24 bears for $1, and they make great kebab sticks or food picks. They aren't with the food stuff, but with the party decorations, so it might be worth a look if you have a store nearby.

Be sure to check out Muffin Tin Monday for other fun lunches. I simply love seeing the other lunches!
