Dumpling Bento!

F&B loved steamed dumplings, probably one of their favorite items at the Chinese restaurant. We haven't had much luck finding ones we really liked, but today's seem to have potential.

They are Ling Ling Natural Potstickers, Chicken & Veggie. We found them in the organic case at Kroger and decided to give them a try. The ingredient list sounded reasonable, with actual foods in them! I did skip the sauce packet for now. F&B prefer theirs plain and we only made part of the package for lunch.

For lunch, the kids had the dumplings, some marble cheese (about 1 oz worth, I measured because I was curious), carrot sticks, honeydew, blackberries, and a zucchini raisin cookie.

Tomorrow is officially the 3 year anniversary of this blog!!! Check back for a cool giveaway and the lunch I meant to make today but Shaun had my car and I had no means of getting to the store. ;o)

  3. We love dumplings! I tend to get ours at the Asian store - they tend to be a little smaller in size and work well in a bento. Can't wait for tomorrow!
