Simple Little Lunch for Faith!

Still finishing out the last of the existing foods in the house, it's going really well!

I had one last egg, so decided that egg salad would be a great option (both kids love egg salad). I was able to serve it on the last of the mini pita breads, so those are finished now too. We're just about out of desserts though, so had to dig a bit in my freezer stash to find a little something. I do hate wasting food though, so my lack of creativity stems from the whole "starving children in other parts of the world" argument. ;o)

Faith had mini-egg salad sandwiches stuffed in whole grain mini pitas, a few carrot sticks, strawberries, a few grapes, cantaloupe, and a mini-cupcake from my freezer. It's kind of a whole mini lunch. This Hello Kitty box is tiny, which is perfect for cute little foods! Very much Faith appropriate.

  4. I just wanted to leave a note that most Borders should have recieved a new Paperchase line called "Enchantement" that has really cute little bento boxes that could work for a girl. Their a lot like the robot one you got and were looking for a girly one for your daughter.

  5. Ooh, thanks Amie! I need to go look this week!

Cindy, the mini pitas are by Toufayan. I get them at Kroger in the bread section. They are prepackaged (not fresh in store) but tend to be with the fresh breads.
