I must say, I am so glad this week is over. The last two weeks, the husband has been at a class that started at 5am and ended sometime between 6 and 8pm. In these last two weeks, we've had spelling bee, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, math club, science club, field trips, basketball practice and games. I am just thrilled next week returns to normal (lots of activities, but the husband will be home again).
For lunch, the kids had croissant sandwiches, with ham and cheese, homemade banana muffins, honeydew, and carrots & cucumber. The boy has finally decided he likes cucumber, as long as I peel it. It's packed in our Easy Lunchboxes (also available on Amazon).

Hi Shannon! I love your blog. I have been alternating between a Goodbyn and an insulated lunch bag with small containers or plastic baggies in it for my 7 year old's lunch for the past 2 years. I have a 5 year old who will be starting school in August, too and I thought the easylunchboxes might make the packing a little easier for me in the mornings since I don't intend to buy another Goodbyn. I want to pack in assembly line style and matching containers would be ideal. Anyway, my question is what do you put your easylunchboxes in when you send them to school with Faith & Ben? Could you post a picture, please?
ReplyDeleteI'll have to take a picture for you, but I put the ELB in the coolers that ar sold with them. I have three--one for Faith, one for Ben and a spare that is sometimes the husband's or sometimes for the kid who spilled something in theirs. ;o) They use stainless steel water bottles, so they fit perfectly, along with a snack, napkin, or cutlery.
