Pizza Bagel Bento & a New Bag for EasyLunchboxes!

It's always nice when non-planned things work out well.  During our move, we were scraping the bottom of the barrel for lunches and I ran out of bread one day.  Presto, we had pizza bagels.  And since I had already packed our ELB cooler bags, I was quite pleased to find out that we had another bag that works well for our EasyLunchboxes

That day, Faith took a mini bagel, with containers of pasta sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, and some pepperonis.  She made up the pizza bagels at lunch and was able to microwave them to melt the cheese (their charter school has a microwave the students can use).  She also took grapes and cantaloupe, along with some snacks.

We discovered that day that one of our Arctic Zone neoprene animal bags will hold an ELB flat at the bottom, which was a stroke of luck (as our ELB coolers were long since packed at that point).

I added her Klean Kanteen, a Squeez'ems of applesauce, a Chobani Champions yogurt tube and a granola bar into the bag, along with a Lunchbox Love note, and it zipped up perfectly!

And Faith thinks it's cute, so that's even an extra bonus!

  3. So envious of her access to a microwave. Good job on improvising with what you had on hand!
