It's that time of year again, and probably Ben's favorite bento of the year. Yep, Star Wars Day! And this year, Ben brought me a few little Lego goodies to decorate his box. He also picked the sandwich prints and the light sabers for decoration.
Ben chose ham and cheese sandwiches on whole wheat bread, one cut into R2D2 and the other cut into Chewbacca, using our Williams-Sonoma press cookie cutters. He added Lego Storm Troopers and some carrots around Chewbacca. He picked an almond poppyseed muffin and added Lego Sith Troopers to that compartment, then blackberries with light saber picks in the top compartment. For a treat, the middle square contains a single Milky Way bite (it seemed space-like to me!). Lunch is packed in a PlanetBox Rover and the Lego guys are from various sets.
