Leftovers to Lunches Bento - Summer Camp, Day 5

The last day of Invention Camp for Ben was last Friday and I was still off camping with Faith and the Girl Scouts.  Since this lunch would be in the fridge the longest, I was extra careful what I sent so he didn't end up with a soggy mess.  Thankfully, I had the perfect leftovers that could make a great lunch!

Ben took the leftover chicken wings we had had a few nights earlier, along with a container of ranch dressing to dip them in.  Since the wings would hold up well in the fridge, they were the perfect choice for the Friday lunch.

To the right, he had carrot sticks and sliced strawberries, along with a tube of Greek yogurt for his snack.  As with the other 5 camp days, lunch is packed in our Easy Lunchboxes.

  1. Does he eat the chicken cold or is there a place to heat it up at his school?

    1. This time, he ate it cold.

His charter school has a microwave, but the day camp does not.

On the plus side, he said it was still yummy!
