I was at Walmart a couple of weeks ago and discovered that they have Minnie Mouse sandwich cutters! I immediately took a picture and shared it on the Facebook page for this blog since cool bento finds are not easy to come by at regular stores, much less for around $2. And then I bought it for me because I wanted it and the Cars one they had too.
Faith agreed to a Minnie Mouse bento for me so I could show off the new cutter. We have some cute Minnie (and Mickey) mouse food picks that a friend sent me from Japan, so they were the perfect accent option.
Faith opted for a ham and cheese sandwich on wheat, cut into a Minnie shape. We attempted to cut the bow separately as a cheese accent, but the kind we had was not cooperating. It would be fine with a standard cheddar, I'm sure. Above Minnie, she has a mini watermelon cupcake from the grocery bakery, then to the right she picked apple slices and grapes. Snacks included yogurt, a granola bar, and probably a third item I can't remember. Lunch is packed in our Easy Lunchboxes.
