As a general rule, I don't usually buy premade sandwiches or sandwich wraps at the deli. They're definitely tasty, but usually higher than I want to pay for something I could make myself. But the other day, I ran into our grocery to get coffee creamer and they had a huge 50% off sale on the deli area. I picked up 4 types for the 4 of us, which was still too many, so leftover lunches it is!
Faith took 4 of the sandwich wraps, I belief two are Italian style, two are turkey, along with carrots and pineapples. I also added some pretzels to the box right before I sent it off with her (since pretzels will get soggy in the fridge). As it is most days, lunch is packed in our Easy Lunchboxes.
For snacks, she took yogurt, a granola bar, and a few other little items since her day starts at 8:15 and doesn't end till band practice is over at 5:30. Besides lunch, I try to send her at least 4-5 individual snack items to keep her going.
And while I still maintain the grocery store meals are generally pricier than I am willing to pay, I will concede that on sale? Yum!
