For one of my Chobani posts, I decided we needed an idea far removed from typical sandwiches. Ben loves peanut butter and bananas together, so why not make it a wrap? (Well, unless you happen to be Faith, who hates any and all things with PB, but she didn't have to eat this.)
In this lunch, the boy has a peanut butter and banana wrap on tortillas! Just spread peanut butter on your tortilla, peel a banana, and lay it on one end. Then roll tightly and let the peanut butter glue itself in place. I cut the whole wrap in half to make it more manageable and added two panda picks to make sure it stayed in place. To go with the wrap, I added a granola bar, blackberries, a little star cup of strawberries, and a tube of Chobani Kids Mixed Berry yogurt. The boy approved.

I do this a lot, but as "banana sushi." Example: http://foodfordissertating.blogspot.com/2015/02/sakura-3-tier-bento-8.html
ReplyDeleteI love it when I'm in the mood for some simple comfort food. You can do it with apples, too.
