It's a long rainy weekend here in the PNW. Apparently, we have some type of storm front coming through. We've decided that the logical assumption is to hunker down, stay indoors, and have a movie weekend.
Fox Home Insiders sent us the new Ice Age: Collision Course, so that's one of our picks for this weekend. To go with it, we made Scrat's Frozen Yogurt Snack Bites to enjoy with our movie.
These are super easy to make and the kids love them. You can actually make any shape you want, if you have the silicone ice cube molds to do it. I happened to have these adorable acorn shapes from an older Ice Age project with Fox, so we used them again.
To make, just sprinkle a bit of your favorite sprinkles at the bottom of each mold, fill with your favorite yogurt flavor, and freeze. We did candy corn colored sprinkles with vanilla yogurt for these. They're extra yummy for school too, just place them in with non-frozen yogurt and they help keep it cool.
We also printed some of these fun activity sheets to play with while we are having our movie time. You can print them as well, just click on each to get a bigger, printable file.
We also have a copy of Ice Age: Collision Course to giveaway to one of our readers. In the latest movie:
