Cars 3 is coming out this summer! I can't wait to take both kids to see it. We've loved the Cars and the Planes movies and are looking forward to a new addition to those. And we might be a little obsessed with CarsLand at California Adventure!
To get in the movie mood, I thought we might need a Cars themed lunch, and I have the press cookie cutters from Cars 2 to make the design extra easy.
In this lunch, I used the Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater cutters to make pressed sandwiches. I used honey wheat bread which took the design well, then added ham and cheese for filler. I used the cookie cutters to get the fillers the right size, then put the extra pieces inside too.
On the bottom, I had fresh honeydew and some mini chocolate chip cookies. Since I didn't have any pick that looked awesome with this lunch, I figured the circle stuff could be tires. The box is an old Paperchase one I've had for years.
