Double Box Bento Lunch

The boy requested a sandwich last week, more on the lines of a sub, including several meats and cheese, as well as mayo.

I knew right away that it was not going to be able to be in a box near other foods, so we have our very first double box bento lunch!

While I occasionally use multiple containers, this is the first time that I've used two containers that both could container an entire lunch on their own.  I think this is what feeding a teen boy is really like.

In the container on the right, a Kung Fu Panda Tupperware sandwich box, Ben took a sandwich on honey wheat bread, with ham, turkey, pepperoni, white cheddar, muenster, and mayo.  It was thick and a little bit drippy, so the separate container was on point.

The left container, an Easy Lunchbox Snack Box, is filled with all his side dishes--cheddar crackers, a few small cookies, two peeled clementines, and some sliced grapes.

Besides all of that, he took yogurt, an applesauce pouch, and a granola bar.  And then he came home hungry.
