Sunday evening prep included rolling & skewering the turkey, cubing the cheese, peeling and slicing the egg, and adding the carrots and the cantaloupe. I often will boil 6-8 eggs so I have them ready before I need them and chop my fruit as I buy it, both of which save time later on. Morning prep included adding crackers, adding yogurt, and filling water bottles. Crackers really must be added before sending, otherwise they end up soggy!

I did this once at it was awesome. I need to do it again, and more often! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI've loved this series! I always think I should try it but am never sure how the lunches would be towards the end. I like your ideas to keep them fresh - ie no sandwich for day 4, adding certain items in on the correct mornings etc. thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteWhere do I find those plastic containers?
ReplyDeleteThey are EasyLunchboxes, they are available on Amazon, in sets of four, so perfect for pre packing!
